Entrepreneur, Nonprofit Executive, and Pro Se Litigant
I bring a combination of compassion, accountability, and practical leadership to public service. As a lifelong advocate for residents through my nonprofit, the Haitian American Collaborative, I’ve built trust by listening, problem-solving, and delivering results. My experience in small business development and community outreach has taught me how to work collaboratively across different viewpoints to get things done. Above all, I lead with transparency and a people-centered approach that puts community needs before politics.
Top Priority: Housing & Homeownership My top priority is increasing access to affordable housing and creating more pathways to homeownership for working families. During the coming term, I will advocate for expanding Stamford’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund and establishing new partnerships between the city, local developers, and nonprofits. My goal is to ensure that residents, especially young professionals and families, can afford to live, work, and thrive right here in Stamford without being priced out.
Smart growth requires listening first. I would work with neighborhood associations, residents, and planners to identify areas that can sustain new housing without overwhelming existing infrastructure. Any development must be paired with clear plans for road improvements, school capacity, and public transit expansion. I believe in balanced growth that protects the character of our neighborhoods while making room for the next generation of residents. Development should serve the people, not the other way around.
To strengthen the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, I would explore public–private partnerships, inclusionary zoning incentives, and targeted grants from state and federal programs. I’d also advocate for developers to reinvest a portion of project profits directly into the fund. To ensure transparency, I would propose quarterly public reports detailing how funds are allocated, which projects are supported, and measurable progress toward affordability goals. Every dollar should go toward improving access and opportunity for Stamford residents.
