Having been born and raised in Stamford, I was educated through Stamford Public Schools, I currently have 3 children enrolled in SPS (a Freshman at Westhill, a 6th Grader at Scofield and a Kindergartner at Roxbury) and my wife is a tenured elementary school teacher in SPS. I have a background in finance and currently work in the trades. With my extensive personal experience in this school system, I am looking to be a voice for all of the parents, teachers and, most importantly, students in the city.

Having seen many superintendent’s come through SPS, I would help find a leader that is dedicated to working alongside parents and who plans to put our kids and educators first. I want a superintendent that will work seamlessly with the Board of Education, and tap into the potential of the education system that we have.

There are many current issues that our school system is facing, from the schedule of new schools being built to the current controversial high school schedule, but an issue that will always need attention and I would make a priority is student and teacher safety. I would review existing policies, meet and partner with local police, security guards and community leaders to find out what they need to help keep our schools and buses safe and secure.
