I am a consensus builder who brings over 35 years of experience in building teams, negotiating contracts, and partnering with some of the country’s largest and most established brands. My background has taught me how to put together effective presentations, work across diverse groups, and collaborate with multiple government agencies to get results. I am a hard worker and deeply passionate about helping people. I understand the everyday challenges that residents face, and I am committed to fighting for their needs and ensuring their voices are heard.
My top priority is to continue fighting for the issues that matter most to the people in my district: lower taxes, safe and well-maintained roads, environmental protection, and maintaining our quality of life.

During my current term, I successfully advocated to have major roads in my district prioritized for paving, conducted studies on flooding, and helped pass one of the most comprehensive environmental ordinances on the 31st Board—legislation that will save the city hundreds of thousands of dollars over time while reducing waste and addressing climate change.

I’m proud to have recently earned endorsements from both the Sierra Club and the Stamford Professional Firefighters, a reflection of the meaningful work I’ve accomplished in my short time on the Board.

Looking ahead, my goal is to continue delivering tangible results that protect our environment, improve public infrastructure, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents. At the end of the day, regardless of party affiliation, we all want the same things: clean air and water, good schools, efficient use of our tax dollars, and safe, welcoming communities to call home.
This is NOT within the purview of the board of reps. This responsibility lies strictly with the Planning Board, if it were within my purview, I would focus on responsible, thoughtful growth. I would keep zoning close to its current form to preserve the character of Stamford’s neighborhoods, while allowing for the redevelopment of underutilized office parks into workforce housing that fits seamlessly with the surrounding areas. Stamford’s neighborhoods from Downtown to Springdale, Glenbrook, the Ridges, and North Stamford, are what make our city truly special. Any new housing should enhance, not compromise, the quality of life, while ensuring that infrastructure, schools, and transit are able to support growth.
The Affordable Housing Trust Fund is primarily overseen by the Planning Department and the Trust Fund Board, so day-to-day decisions about revenue generation and fund allocation are not directly within the Board of Representatives’ purview. However, as a member of the Board, I can and do influence funding through the City budget, and I will continue to vote in support of allocating sufficient resources to meet the growing demand for affordable housing.
I have also co-sponsored a resolution to reduce or waive certain fees for nonprofits and affordable housing projects, helping make development more feasible and cost-effective. Beyond policy, I have actively advocated for residents of Willard Manor, a low-income housing development in my district, including sponsoring a town hall where residents could voice their grievances with management. By combining budget advocacy, policy initiatives, and direct engagement with residents, I work to ensure Stamford’s affordable housing programs are fair, transparent, and responsive to those who need them most.
