Deputy Town Clerk
I bring a range of qualities that make me a strong candidate for this office including effective communication, proven leadership, unwavering integrity, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine commitment to excellence.
At the heart of my agenda is the reopening of the Lathon Wider Center, a cornerstone for our community that will provide critical services to seniors, families, and children. Alongside this, I remain deeply committed to championing affordable housing and tackling the environmental challenges that affect our district’s health and future.
I would like to see more housing in the way of affordable townhomes using underutilized commercial zones used for this purpose. I would also like to see historically underserved communities participate in the planning process to avoid displacement.
I introduced LU31.050, a proposal for the City of Stamford to regulate short-term rentals and Airbnbs. The goal is to direct revenue generated from these regulations into the City's Affordable Housing Trust Fund, helping to expand access to affordable housing. I look forward to collaborating with city staff to finalize this important ordinance.
